The Glen.... I talk so much about the Glen and thought I'll show you a tiny bit of what I experience when I walk through it.
The bluebells are so pretty at the moment.
If I get tired I can take a rest... even if it is just to hear the birds sing.
Lovely to hear the sound of the water... so peaceful!
The ferns are coming out real fast!
The trees had no leaves 4 weeks ago...

Here you can see how close we were to the seagulls before they moved out of the way.
We went to Largs today and as we were leaving the car park someone was feeding the seagulls. They refused to make way for us. It was lovely to get so close to them though.
It is not often that we see the beach like this. The seaweed is bright green.
A rock covered with shells!
Sue and Sarah.... and somewhere in the water is Brandy. She left her tennis ball somewhere on the beach for Sarah to find and to throw further down the beach.
It was low tide and a beautiful evening!
Bluebells growing wild everywhere! It is a protected plant and you are not allowed to pick it.
I am not very successful in taking pictures of the bluebells... it is so pretty at the moment.
Sarah and Brandy - Stephe and Rite's dog. Brandy loves her tennis ball and the sea! She is such fun to watch! Here she is ready for the walk .... waiting impatiently for us to go.

Rite and Sue with baby Aspath whose parents work in Gambia.
This is a fun photo - 6 people, 6 nationalities. French, Swiss, Dutch, Australian, Russian and American.
The next morning we had a relaxed breakfast with about 80 people. It was quite noisy as people were chatting as if they knew each other for a long time.
Our first evening together I laid this table full of snacks - it turned out quite pretty. What do you think?
Richard and Clara from Singapore. They were so cold the first few days - I couldn't resist taking this photo of them as they are all covered up while sitting sitting in the diningroom reading.
